A dedication to taste experiences.

Developed in a 100-year old pink house, our team of alchemists founded Pink House Alchemy through the love of food and flavor. Inspired by complementary patterns in roots, barks, fruits, herbs, and botanicals, we work every day to find new and perfect connections between ingredients—and simple syrups, bitters, and shrubs are where we put these discoveries to the test.

Syrups

(noun) a thick sweet liquid made by dissolving sugar and botanicals in boiling water; used as a flavoring additive in cocktails, coffee, sauces, and food.

Bitters

(noun) liquor that is flavored with the sharp pungent taste of plant extracts; used as an additive in cocktails. 
 

Shrubs

(noun) an acidulated syrup comprised of vinegar, botanicals, and sugar; prior to the invention of refrigeration, a shrub syrup was a means of preserving fruit long past its picking.

Emily Lawson

Founder

Emily Lawson is the the proprietress of both Pink House Alchemy and Foxhole Public House. Whip-cracker by day and baby-snuggler all the other minutes of her life, family is her most precious curation. Keep an ear out for Emily's ceaseless machine of innovative ideas and flavor combinations. Her entrepreneurial spirit is magnetic! Never a dull moment in her world. 

Stephanie King

Director of Operations

Stephanie King is the director of operations for Pink House Alchemy and the zookeeper for all of our mania and insanity. With a rich background in the retail and restaurant worlds, she came crashing into our lives and hasn't stopped moving since. When she is not trying to fit square pegs into round holes she can be found sipping whiskey, going to a monster truck rally, or reading a good book at the lake.

 

Ross

Ross Barber

Production Manager

Ross Barber is a chef, production manager at Pink House Alchemy, and one of the key architects behind pH’s and Foxhole’s taste experiences. He is surely a scientist in a parallel universe. When he’s not exploring his craft of creating sensory escapades through new techniques and skill sets in the kitchen, Ross can be found tinkering with gadgets, thinking about the future and it’s awesomeness, or playing soccer—though he’d be the first to admit he’s better at watching it. He also got second place in his fifth grade spelling bee.

 

Brandon Davidson

Events Director/Retrotender

Brandon Davidson, aka Retrotender, is events and staffing director for Pink House Alchemy and sometime drink slinger at the Foxhole Public House. He digs on community, hospitality, and a finely-crafted cocktail experience. He thinks family is key. He is currently on a quest to create the world's best mustache wax, and the phrase "on fleek" is lost on him.

Bob Pellegrino

Lead Scientist

Bob Pellegrino is the lead scientist for Pink House Alchemy, harnessing the chaos and ordered discipline of science to optimize the flavor and appearance of craft cocktails and foods with different techniques and instruments (e.g. centrifuge clarification, sous-vide, ultrasonication).  As a man known to show up to parties with several liters of liquid nitrogen, his favorite cocktail is simple dry gin martini while his favorite sandwich is tattooed to his inner arm.  When approached with difficult life questions, he typically refers to Sir Garth and Sir Wayne's answer to each other, "Party on".

RJ Geiss

Brand Ambassador/Coffee Guru

R.J. Geiss is a dapper beardsman, seasoned barista, and long time caffeine bean connoisseur in search of the finest cup. Catch him in your local coffee establishment deeply appreciating a blueberry bomb from Ethiopia's Yirgacheffe region. When this amasser of fine tattoos is not engaged in his various writings, he can be seen traversing the urban jungle via skateboard and spitting the dopest freestyle or cheesiest dad joke.
